Trying to be positive

Elisheva

I gained fifty pounds in my pregnancy. The first time I weighed myself after birth was two weeks after and I braced myself to only lose 12 or so pounds. I did the math..Six pound baby plus water plus placenta.... to my shock I was only down seven. Yes I breastfed and from the start I had to fight for every single pound lost. It's been thirteen months and I've lost 33 pounds. I have now hit a plateu and it's frustrating me and killing me. I count calories, workout, low carb, no eating at night... I can go three weeks without losing anything. Then I lose a pound and then it's another plateu. I want to be proud of my hard work but I am also so disappointed in how hard I have to work and how long it's taking. My husband is incredibly supportive. Yesterday he told me he sees how hard I work and that most people would be losing weight.. and he is sorry I'm not and I have to work so hard. Anyone in this position ? Please don't tell me to try cutting out carbs.. I eat a clean plant based diet.
