First IUI coming up, any advice or anyone else going through it around the same time?!

Just went for my baseline ultrasound this am waiting to find out when they want me to start the 5 day meds before doing our <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>. Feels like its been a hurry up and wait kinda thing.

Tips for making it hurt less - don't empty your bladder before and spread your legs wide (super spread eagle) before they put the speculum in. Nothing to help fertilization or implantation beyond the basics of limiting coffee intake, no alcohol, eating healthy and getting rest. Sometimes it can take a while so guard your heart. I kept brushing people off when they told me that but unfortunately they were right. Best of luck!

So nice to hear of your success story!! I just finished my first round of Clomid 50mg last night & now I'm just waiting to receive a positive OPK so I can take my trigger shot and get my IUI next week 😬 I'm hoping this giant hurricane out there doesn't cause any conflicts since I'm in FL 😭

I finished my 5 days of clomid last Friday and go in for my follicle scan tomorrow. Iui will probably be Wednesday or Thursday! Good luck to you!

I'm starting my first iui next Wednesday!! 🤗 I'm super anxious and excited. My wife is super supportive and always tells me don't over think or stress out because that does effect your body.

I just had my first IUI yesterday. Still feel a little crampy and bloated from the experience. Just waiting and praying. I took letrozole 5mg days 5-9 and ultrasound on day 10 since I tend to ovulate a little sooner than normal. Best wishes and stay positive!

I had my forst IUI 15 days ago...still no period (was due yesterday), also getting negative tests...hmmm I'm getting frustrated and it's hard to be patient.

Hi! I am starting my first IUI right now too and I'm also very nervous. Started taking chlomid on Friday and go back in on the 21st for my ultrasound and HCG shot.
