How much and how often do your babies eat?
We went to the doctor on Friday because our little one was crying uncontrollably sometimes and seemed to be in pain when she was eating. She also spit up after every meal. I figured she had some kind of food allergy and we needed to switch her formula. (I tried breastfeeding and really loved it, she latched perfectly but I wasn't producing enough and she seemed to be starving.)
Doctor said based off her weight gain we were over feeding her and that was the whole problem. (That or acid reflex). She told me I needed to feed her 3oz every 3 hours.
Baby is starving like clock work every two hours and sometimes eats 3oz sometimes eats 2oz. Does that seem like too much? I tried holding out as long as I can to give her a bottle but it's so hard when she is screaming at the top of her lungs. She seems like she is starving and I thought babies were suppose to indicate when they were hungry and stop or not take the bottle when they aren't. Which she lets me know when she is done and won't take the bottle if she isn't hungry.
Just wondering what everyone else is feeding their little ones?
