period light & lasting longer ??

so usually my period is heavy on day 2&3 and light until day 5 and its gone but for some reason my period has been really light & its been going on for a week ? does anybody know why this is happening ? (i'm 13)

I don't know why this happens, but it just happened to me as well. Now my period is back to normal. My advice would be that if your period continues like this it's best to talk to your mother or a woman that you trust.
