I have this really nice prescription hair removal cream that my doctor told me not to use, I would assume you shouldn't use the over the counter stuff either.

That's a lot of chemicals I wouldn't put on or near my body, especially during pregnancy

I wouldn't because those are some strong chemicals. My tattoo artist said he tattooed nail beds once and the client soaked his fingers in nair to basically melt off the nails before the appointment. So nair freaks me out now.
