Pepperoni Roll?!?

HELP! I just ate a cold pepperoni roll, not knowing that pepporni is typically bad for you. I'm about 6weeks and I'm freakibg out!i don't have a obgyn yet to call anybody! I know the pepperoni roll was cooked, But I bought it and put it in the fridge and didn't heat it up without thinking! :(

Oh my goodness, you'll be fine! I'm an inspector for the USDA. All I do is inspect meat products and test for things like listeria. Pepperoni has such a low water activity (amount of water available for use by microbes) that it's not at the top of the list for listeria contamination. It can happen, but it's exceedingly rare. Take a deep breath. It'll be ok.

Listen I ate cold cut Sandwhices my WWHOLE pregnancy because that's all I craved and my daughter is fine. I'm not saying eat deli meat but if you do just warm it up or something.

I've found online that pepperoni is very very low risk because it's cured. I've been craving it and eating plain pepperoni for a snack
