We use Dr. Bronner's baby castille soap. And that's it. No lotion, etc. We wash out daughter with soap once or maybe twice a week and just use water on other days. She hasn't gotten cradle cap or bad baby acne yet. She had a VERY slight case of baby acne that cleared up in a couple weeks.
