What is something you see people spending way too much money on that blows your mind? Or not enough money on?

Just curious what you ladies see people blowing money on. Or not spending enough money on. 
Clothes and shoes and eating out come to mind for seeing people spend way too much money on.

I've actually seen my friends buy a house at the top of their budget and when the taxes went up they couldn't afford it and had to sell it.  Also, I think it's silly when moms buy expensive clothes for babies/kids when they're only going to wear them for a few months.

People who spend ridiculous amounts of money daily for coffee that tastes like shit, looking at you Starbucks! People who spend more than they earn and complain about being broke because they can't have What they want the exact second it comes out, while chatting on stupid expensive technology and wearing over priced fashion. Super expensive name brand clothes and shoes for children who grow out of them in a couple months. I could go on and on....

A lady at work today was complaining she had to give her sister £50 for her phone bill because she had spent her last £50 on wait for it... a giant inflatable singing dancing Santa Claus that was marked down from £200 and too much of a bargain to pass up 😂

I'm currently in a struggle with my husband about his tobacco habit. He's been dipping since he was like 14/15 years old and recently I noticed our money was being spent a hell of a lot quicker than usual. I couldn't put my finger on it until I realized he was going to the gas station multiple times a day to buy dip. I totaled two months worth of his gas station trips and he'd been spending around $300/MONTH on dip alone. $5-$7 a day adds up quick. People could afford a lot more things if they'd just give up their tobacco habit. Shit costs a fortune and, not to mention, is disgusting.

This YouTube makeup enthusiast that thinks she's a MUA finally just bought a house, after YEARS of buying ugly high end purses, shoes, bracelets, etc. then had the nerve to film a video and say she felt like "god abandoned" her because she didn't have luck finding a McMansion in under a year 🙄. Normally I wouldn't care, but I'm a real MUA, not a makeup enthusiast with a camera and YouTube channel, so yea the unfairness bothers me, but not my money/lack of, not my problem. This insta-glam/YouTube makeup trend will die soon, and I'll still be a pro-licensed MUA while she's moved on to her next scam.

It drives me nuts when people blow off vehicle repairs and maintenance. That ride could EASILY get you 250,000 miles plus if you just kept up with the maintenance. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I pay out the ass for a ride. I WILL get my money's worth.

Video game consoles and phones. No you don't NEED the xbox one or the latest cell phone, wait until it breaks and then buy a new one. Not to mention they will not get much return on investments if you choose to sell it later down the road, that $400 video game console will only be worth about $100 in a year.
