BRAZILIAN WAX??

i'm getting a brazilian wax soon and it's my first one, i have always just shaved. what do i need to do to prepare for it and how painful is it?

Trust that if you are in pain, this first session will be THE WORST it will ever be (unless you get waxed near your cycle, that shit hurts). Realize that it takes 3-5 sessions for all the hair to get on the same growing cycle and look nice. DO NOT SHAVE IN BETWEEN appointments! It will ruin your progress! If they sell exfoliating after care, buy it and use it! The butt area does not hurt as bad as the labia/clitorius area, so mentally prepare for that. The hair gets *re-set* to its natural growing angle, and the follicle bulb shrinks in size with every wax. This makes the hair grow back thinner and finer with every wax. Eventually some bulbs become so weak, they get removed and never grow back. I can go two months in between waxing before I'm like "okay it's time for this to go!", never could have done that with shaving. Shower before hand and tip well afterwards!

You need to have not shaved for 2 weeks prior to a first wax to have good results. Yes it hurts but take tylenol, not blood thinning pain reliever, so you don't bleed. Follow the recommended aftercare.

Not to scare ou, but mine was so painful!! I was in tears! I grabbed the woman's arm mid was at one point and begged her to stop. She was like 90% done and I did not care. People say it gets better the more you do it, but the one time was enough for me.

Just clean up real good. They're gonna go really into your lips, ass and even get your legs up lol. Don't be nervous, they do it all the time and they've seen it all! As for pain, take some ibuprofen or OTC of your choice if your too sensitive to pain or have very sensitive skin. I believe everyone has a different level of pain tolerance. I usually take pain but there are certain areas down there that make me gasp lol
