Who pays the bills ?

Ladies so me and my bf are trying to get our own place .. me and my bf both work he only wants me to pay the bills like the light, cable, internet, food. & he will pay the rent himself but I feel like I should help him out more ? What do you ladies think ? 🤔

We don't see it like that, our income is joint and we use the funds to pay things. No issues that way. We are also married so, what's his is mine and vice versa! ☺️

My hubby and i have one account. He makes more, but his money is my money and vise versa.

I literally only buy food, & pay for Netflix, my phone bill and our water bill .
My man won't let me pay for anything else lol

My now-husband and I have shared bills jointly since we moved in together. I'd say your relationship isn't serious enough to be moving in together if you cannot share money/finances jointly but maybe that's just me.

I'm a SAHM so he pays everything. I clean houses on the side a couple days a week and that money pays for my gas and the dog/cat food.

Ive just graduated as a teacher so I'm taking a few months out- with no rush on me to go back. My partner pays for everything atm as we see it as the one pot for us both. Don't feel bad if he wants to pay more. You're a couple so it's all the same ☺️

I earn more than him but we put the same amount into a joint account each month. It covers mortgage, bills etc. We each pay for our own bills (phone, car insurances etc) and when we're getting low at the end of the month like if we go for a meal or something social I tend to pay.

For me I helped out my husband tell about 4 months ago. I quit my job to be a still at home mom. High risk pregnancy so was on bed rest the lest few months. Now lo here so I take care of him.
