I was born with a hernia and the dr said it should go away on its own. (I'm 15 now) I always knew I had one when I was little but I didn't know it didn't get fixed. There has always been a weird little indent/internal hole right above my belly button I just assumed it was part of my stomach. Today it's been sore, I don't really know how to explain it, but I showed my mom and she told me to lie down so she could check for a hernia. And she said there is one right above my belly button I guess it just literally never healed. Why is it hurting now? Will I need to get it fixed now? I know it's no big deal I'm just curious
