What happens at your confirmation appointment?

I've been Pregnant twice & both ended in a mc and my pregnancy never lasted to the confirmation appts. Per glow app my EDD is March 14 2018... Just hoping I get to see a heartbeat as I will be 6 weeks Friday!!
