Do You Consider a Blowjob Sex?

I'm wondering because at age 13, I gave my first blowjob, but I didn't experience vaginal penetration till age 15.  I know that the concept of "virginity" is controversial, and that different people will have different opinions about it, but, in YOUR opinion, did I lose my "virginity" when I gave my first BJ, or didn't it "count"?

I don't count BJs as sex... and if other people do, I've answered a lot of questions wrong on here lol. I have never personally know anyone to consider the two the same thing. If you give a guy a BJ today would you say you had sex? ... no cause sex is sex. Oral sex has the word sex in it... but so does phone sex, and cyber sex but they aren't sex either. If a guy had a BJ but never penetrated a vagina... I'd say yeah, you've never had sex (unless of course he is gay and never intends to.. but hasn't penetrated or been penetrated by a male partner in his case). But I think the whole concept of virginity is nonsense, completely arbitrary standards of purity. I know so many people who were like "in saving myself for my wedding night" and It just seems ridiculous to "preserve" your vaginal opening from a penis, but he can stick his tongue in you, his fingers you can suck his dick and take it in the butt...however, my vagina is pure!

15 is when you lost the virginity of the hoo-ha which is the kind of virginity someone is normally asking you when they ask are you a virgin they don't care if you give someone head they're asking you if you've been vaginally penetrated this is something you should know but judging by our age and by the comments of the other people I'm just assuming well you either didn't know and they don't know or whatever but when asked when you lost your virginity you say 15

Oral sex is counted as sex. When people think of a virgin they think or penetration between a vagina and a penis. Virginity is typically referred to as "popping your cherry" or simply loosing a piece of your skin inside your vagina, which is why most of the time you bleed after you loose your virginity. However, oral sex is sex, so I believe it's in personal preference. I believe this because 1. Oral sex is sex, but 2. Loosing your virginity is typically when your vagina and a penis make contact with each other and penetration is involved. 
My personal opinion is that oral sex is sex and it may not be loosing your virginity (vaginally) but your body is your temple and you should honor it. Also you still contract STD's/STI's while having oral sex just as you can with vaginal sex. 
Both vaginal and oral sex should be taken with precaution and done safely.
