Crying it out vs getting him advice!!!
My 4 month old will sleep in his crib, after I nurse and rock him down. We do not let him cry. Once we hear him wake we either try it again or he's up for good. At night he starts in his crib (sometimes) and every night after he wakes (between 12am and 3am) ends up in our bed and he's happy and it's lights out. Today at his 4 month check the pediatrician couldn't speak enough about us letting him cry it out, giving him "the best gift of all, the gift of sleep..!"
Please tell me there aren't 20 yr old men still needing their mommy to put them to bed?! I figure he will learn eventually, I feel it's important he knows he's nurtured when he cries. Please share with me your experiences with your older children
