Would you skip a month?

In February we had a miscarriage..we've been trying for a few months to get pregnant again and no luck, keep in mind I got pregnant the first try with my 1 year old son and the miscarriage. I'm not sure why we aren't getting pregnant this time.  My son's birthday is April 27..if we try this month that would put our due date around April 21. I wouldn't want them to have birthdays that close..should I skip this month and start again next month?

We are taking a break for the month of august because that would put number baby #2s birthday too close to our sons. But we will pick it back up in September :) we just feel we would like to be able to give them both separate parties and have the money to get them nice gifts and not have them have to share or spend less on each one because they are so close.

My kids have pretty close birthdays and they actually like sharing their birthday party. I'm sure that's unusual, but you can help foster the excitement in sharing with how you build it up. I have endometriosis, one ovary, and a history of cysts. When we talked about potentially skipping a month of trying for the purpose of a more convenient due date, I said, "why give up any chances? You never know what's coming." That's my philosophy! But we all have different stories. Good luck with the rest of yours 😊
