I believe with a natural miscarriage you can go back to having sex anytime after you stop bleeding. but if you have a D&C; then you have to wait 4 weeks to heal from the surgery to have sex again.

Mine said that you can have sex when you want but wait two months before ttc. My mom told me they say that because you're real fertile afterwards and can get pregnant again right away which makes it hard to figure out when you conceived. I'm not sure if I believe her though because I had a miscarriage in May and I'm still not pregnant

My friends doctor told her wait 3 months (she miscarried at 5 weeks). I asked my doctor after miscarrying at 7 weeks and she said that was not necessary. But recommended I wait until after my first period. After doing research, doctors recommend after your first period but you can start right away if you feel emotionally and physically ready and know when you are ovulating (otherwise you won't be able to predict when to get your first ultrasound because you don't have a missed period). We decided to start right away, we are ready. I hope it's the right choice.

When I went two months ago my OBGYN said there is no need to wait. Just until you stop bleeding. Studies have shown there is no risk or benefit statistically that it will increase your risk of MC if you try right away. Best of luck!

We started ttc again the day after I stopped bleeding, I think as long as you are emotionally ready and there is no medical cause for concern, then there's no need to wait. I'm sorry for your loss ❤️

my doctor suggested that I wait until I felt emotionally ready.. He said there is no actual time frame to wait. He also said to use protection the first couple weeks as its not good to become pregnant immediately following. I ended up just waiting those couple weeks until I felt the emotional part would be present with my partner
