FTM-

On Monday July 10th @ my 40 week appointment, doctor checked me and told me I made progress. She was engaged. I got all my elective points to be induced by Wednesday (my due date) if I didn't go earlier. He also gave me the option to get my membranes swept. So we did. I had contractions all that day, bloody show, whole nine yards. Minus my water breaking. I got up Tuesday morning about 5:30am and went for a long walk. By the time I got home the contractions got worse. I waited it out until about 12pm. I couldn't stand it no longer. Got to the hospital, they admitted me. Around 3 doc came in and broke my water at 4cm. I didn't get an epidural until I was 6.5cm @ 5. It only took on the right side of my body. The contractions were so bad, they gave me a higher dose of the epidural. Still didn't take. Doc came in around 10pm & told me we are having a baby now ready or not. (He was mad at the nurses because I had been in serious pain since 5pm & nobody called and told him.) We started pushing at 8cm. My baby girl arrived at 10:29pm! Weighing 7lbs 10oz & 21 in long! With a head full of pretty black hair!
