My daughter will be in 5th grade next year and I found out last year that they don't let 5-6 graders go outside for recess anymore and they won't say why they ain't letting them but instead they send them to the gym every once and a while, like really what happened to letting them get fresh air and refresh after lunch, and the whole 30 minutes of activity. I'm going to be going to the school and sit there til they give me a damn straight answer about why cuz it's so dumb cuz sometime that's the only time a child gets to go outside and blow off energy with there friends.

WOW!! People are being so judgmental you have no idea what I do for a living I work 12 hr days do u ain't home it 8:30pm!!! So I can't take her outside after school and she comes home does homework and chores first then if I'm home or her father then we go outside.

FASCTS show kids pay attention better after running of steam that's why there is recess in the first place!!
