Mine are 5 years 5 days apart! I love it! I didn't run around with a tot while pregnant, I don't lose more sleep than I would if I had a tot and a baby, I'm not buying pull ups/ diapers for 2, my oldest helps, when my oldest is in school I get alone time with baby...

My doctor told me it takes at least a year and a half for your body to fully recover from pregnancy and childbirth. You're free to have more children before then, but it's healthiest to wait the year.

my oldest turned 3 , 9 days before i had my second, best age gap because my oldest can do alot of things on her own so i dont feel like im running around like a chicken with its head cut off

I feel that 5 years is a good gap is allows you to ask your child hey do you want sibling and ask them if they do what kind of sibling they want and it allows them to have a better understanding of hey it's your family too and when baby comes you'll have to be extra good and helpful. my son used to fight with me about helping but know he knows he's going to be a big brother hes all for helping me out he wants a baby brother but a "sister baby is okay too"

My first two children are 1 year 6 months apart, and my third child is 4 years 10 months apart from my first and 3 years 4 months apart from my second child. Now pregnant with baby number 4 and my oldest will be 2 months from turning 12 second kid is 10 now and my 3rd child will be turning 7 the same month this baby is due.
