my daughter is turning one and I was wondering a couple things. I plan to stop breastfeeding her once she turns one which is August 2nd, question 1 is: do I slowly stop breastfeeding days before or stop immediately that day? She's so attached to me I honestly don't know how I will do this.

Second question: We co-sleep/bed share, and she still wakes up during the night at least twice, so I breastfeed her for about 5 min and she's out again. What will I do when she turns one ? She'll only sleep once I breastfeed her so it's concerning me:/

I'll add that I don't plan on giving her cows milk, I want to try coconut milk or rice milk, something along there. (I'm not vegan or anything, I just read concerning things about cows milk)

We have an appointment for her 12 month shots and I plan on asking her pediatrician these questions too but maybe some moms on here can help me out as well :)
