workout routine

hey all, I've posted a few times about getting into shape. I started exercising and counting calories (calorie deficit) about 3 weeks ago. I've lost about 4 lbs give or take a few. I'm wondering if I'm doing it right I guess. I know it won't happen over night, but I wanna do the best I can do. I have a 5 month old little man to tend to, I'd say I get 15-20 minutes a day of good exersize. I have an elliptical, and I do workout videos. Squats, planks, crunches, jumping jacks, pushups, lunges, and so on. Does this seem like an adequate variety, or amount of time? I want to Target my waist (obviously after having a baby) and my thighs and arms, and of course build a booty (eventually) I am NOT in shape. I went from sitting on my ass all day eating pure junk and drinking coke by the 12 pack every few days, to actually monitoring my intake. Like I said I know it takes time, what's your routine? How much have you lost? What have you found that worked and didn't work for you? I am just curious and want more info. All bodies are different, I get that too. thanks everyone!
