Hi CC! 👋🏻 today I want to get your input on a topic that is very split among my friend group, as well as society in general. That topic is safe spaces.

Safe spaces are defined as "a place or environment in which a person or category of people can feel confident that they will not be exposed to discrimination, criticism, harassment, or any other emotional or physical harm."

My personal opinion is always wavering. Part of me thinks a "tough love" attitude can be effective. But at the same time, some people who seek out safe spaces may have mental disorders or disabilities, so pushing them to "toughen up" is not the way to go, and can actually do more harm than good.

What are your thoughts on safe spaces, especially in regards to schools? Do you think they help or hurt an individual or population? Do you think the younger generations are worse off because of the use of safe spaces? Let everyone know your thoughts! 👇🏻😁
