PCOS- IUI or IVF??

Question

Hi ladies,
I've done 5 mixed cycles of either Clomid or Femara plus Menopur, which resulted in ovulation but not conception. 
Met with Dr today, and he said I can do IUI if I want, but he recommends jumping straight to IVF. 
Hubby has normal sperm, and I have good uterus and tubes. 
Any thoughts or personal experiences?

IUI was a waste of my time. Doing ivf now. Supposedly rates aren't much higher than regular intercoirse if your partner has good sperm

I'm 26, 5 years ttc. We have done 2 cycles IUI and what feels like a million of timed intercourse. I would give it at least 3 months of trying IUI before moving onto ivf. Take it easy the day before and after IUI is my biggest advice

Thin PCOS here with 2 failed IUIs on injectables. Both times I was a high responder so they tried to convert me to Ivf but we can't afford it. Never even got a positive test.

Ivf forsure. Iui is a waste of time in my opinion so we went straight for ivf

Honestly I did 5 cycles of timed intercourse and wish I would have just done ivf

We're going with IUI first, but I think only doing 2-3 cycles (my first one being this month). I've read that success rates for women with PCOS with medicated IUI is around 15-20% so I figured it's worth a shot.
