My fiance's birthday is tomorrow and we're celebrating his tonight! 🎂 I've been feeling guilty because we've been on a hardcore saving budget and he spoils me year round. Natrually I want to do the same but we're getting ready to move into a new home, start trying for a baby, build our savings in general and he's expressed many times that he does not want to do anything big so we can stick to the plan. ISo instead of spending hundreds of dollars at a fancy restaurant and going for a night on the town like we would normally do, we're switching things up! We're going to go to the hiking trails we've been going to since we first met later on tonight, bring a big comfy blanket and our telescope and have a stargazing picnic date 🌌🌾🔭 I still feel a little guilty because I love him and I want to make a huge deal of his birthday. But at the end of the day, money isn't everything and having eachother's company triumphs it all. Money isn't everything and I think it's important to indulge on some corny ass dates once in a while.
