Press labeling cop in Minnesota shooting

What are your thoughts about how the officer in the most recent police shooting in Minneapolis? The press has been treating him differently than other cops have been treated in these situations. He's already been named, his pic circulating, they have identified him as an immigrant, and have been digging into his past. He's also already been labeled a "killer". Darren Wilson and others were not treated this way. So let's talk about this. Why the difference? Why is this suddenly acceptable? Isn't he innocent until proven guilty ?
