Birth stories with no interventions start to finish?

Question

I was wondering if any of the moms here have experienced a natural birth with no interventions from start to finish - no sweeps, no membrane release, no pitocin, etc. I'm really curious about the length and comfort of these births? Bonus if you also has experienced another birth with interventions that you can compare too!

I had a home birth, no interventions of any kind. It was horribly painful, I literally wished I could die. But it was wonderful, everything went perfectly and now it's over. labor was much more painful than actually pushing her out. when I try to remember how bad it hurt I just can't, I think my brain has put a block there because it just seems so far off.
you can do it! it's horrible but so worth it

I am a FTM and had an amazing natural birth on July 2nd. Friday night I started having very irregular contractions, not super painful but enough to keep me awake. They continued on Saturday and were getting closer together, so we went to labour & delivery at 6pm. They checked me and I was only at 1 cm! They told me this could go on for days so sent me home and told me to rest. I got home and went to the washroom and lost my mucous plug.  Laid down to have a nap and woke up at 10pm to strong contractions...I felt and heard a pop and my water broke (all over my clean sheets!). Contractions were only 3 minutes apart so I jumped in the shower while hubby packed the car and off to the hospital we went. Got there at 1030pm and I was already at 5cm. I had back labour and all I wanted to do was sit on the toilet as it took the pressure off. My nurses were amazing and kept reassuring me how strong I was. A few times I said I didn't feel I was coping well with the pain and they reassured me I was doing great. They said they could give me gas but I was so close and had already come this far without it. By 12:00 I was 10 cm and ready to push. I was very clear that I did not want to be on my back at all and they gave me plenty of options. It really is incredible how your body just takes over! At 1:39 am our daughter was born. Only 1 small tear that didn't require stitches. I amazed both myself and my husband that I did it all natural without any drugs!

Ooh this is right up my alley! 😃 Ok, sit down for a long story. My 1st baby was induced with an epidural. The contractions were terrible from the pitocin. The epidural fixed that, but scared me cuz my legs were so numb. I pushed her out in less than 10 pushes and she was 6.12. 
My 2nd baby was a home birth. I had NO cervical checks. Even during labor. We just let my body do its thing. I went into labor at 40+6. The day before I had a run of Braxton hicks that were 5 min apart for 2 hours and hadn't had them the whole pregnancy. Then they stopped. I lost clear plug for a few days before labor. The morning of labor I woke up at 4:20am to pee. I felt a "heavy" feeling all around my lower back and pelvis. When I wiped there was bloody tinged plug and I started shaking Bc I just FELT like it was time. My contractions started and got more intense and closer together and they were totally manageable with a lot of moving, swaying, vocalizing. Until transition. I couldn't stay on top of them. They hurt so bad I was terrified. Heart stopping, like tears rolling down my face silently, pain. Those only lasted about 30 minutes before my push contractions started though. The mw had had me get out of the birth pool and sit on the pot to relax and sure enough when I started to pee, WHOOSH my water broke, the babies head dropped down and was crowning and I was pushing hard involuntarily! Scared the shit out of me! Haha Then I calmed down some and we waddled me back to the birth pool where I pushed him out in probably 5 pushes. After his head was out I did have to turn on my hands and knees Bc his shoulders were "sticky." He was 8.10lbs, perfect with a Mohawk. 😍 I tore, so she stitched me up while I breastfed to distract myself. Then we had an herb bath.

All natural FTM had my baby at 38 weeks. That day I went to get acupuncture and then to the chiropractor to help with a previous injury (car accident at 28 weeks). My partner and I went out for dinner and that's when I started feeling contractions every 10 mins but they slowed down when I laid down at home. At about 12 they came back but I ignored them until 2 then went to the bathroom where I started moaning through contractions (partner woke up). I went to the kitchen to call the midwife and my water broke so we headed to the birth centre (because I was gbs +). Once there at 3:30 am they had to put an iv for antibiotics but when they finished the round they unclipped it so I could move around, I was 3-4 cm. I went into the tub and started vocalizing a lot and needed my partner to put lots of pressure on my back (back labour). The tub got cold so I got out and had to throw up, then they had me try different positions to get baby in a better position. Then they suggested the toilet I sat backwards on it and suddenly felt the urge to push, they checked me I was 6cm. All of a sudden blood started dripping out of me (bright red- not mucus plug) and they started to worry. They decided to transfer me to hospital. It was the longest 30 min transfer ever especially because I still had the urge to push... this was around 8am. I had to "blow a feather"- light fast breathing to prevent me from pushing. When we got there they checked and I was a 9 with a lip so they said I could listen to my body and do whatever. I let my body do most of the work in a squat and gave little pushes here and there when I wanted to. At 10:13 my girl was born. She was beautiful! I had no further complications and everything went well. So about 7 hours of active labour.. yes it's hard but it's not impossible. I did hypnobirthing to help me stay calm which helped the pain (read about the fear-tension-pain cycle).

Pregnant for the fourth time right now and my 3 births went like this :
My oldest was supposed to be natural, got to the hospital at 9 pm at 8cm and 90%the nurse blew out all of my veins in one arm and tried to do the IV over my belly in a tub of water, got out so she could have full access and my daughter dropped significantly with lots of pressure on my hip, midwife tried 3 different positions and then "medical necessity" epidural happened because I was white knuckled on the bed. Epidural put me to sleep woke up at 1 am with broken water with meconium they cleaned me up and put me back to sleep, came back in at 4:30 am stopped my epidural started pushing out my sunny side up girl with her fist on her clavicle... felt like I was being cut open from the inside. She came after an hour of non stop pushing because I couldn't rest or the pain in my abdomen was so sharp and severe I threw up. She was 8lbs 9oz and 21.25 inchesThis was my worst nightmare still have PTSD from her birth 
#2 at 40 weeks 3 days and being at 3cm and 50% for 3 weeks I drank castor oil at 3 pm went to my step sons baseball game at 5, destroyed a port a potty at 6, with steady contractions went home and took up residence in my bathroom until 9, came out bounced on the ball until 11pm wiped and had bloody show, got to the hospital around midnight still 3cm and 50% had an IV placed- hubby was a little freaked about me not having one walked the unit for 10 minutes came back had the IV removed because it was done wrong and replaced in a different spot got in the tub labored unhindered for 4.5 hours started to get pushy got out of the tub and walked the 10 feet to the bed 5 pushes 11lbs 6oz 24 inch baby boy! -this was my recovery birth but I was less than thrilled with having to get out of the tub before pushing like hey he's crowing let's walk 10 feet to the bed then push 🙄
#3 woke up at 6:30am in active labor contractions every 3 minutes for 2-3 min got my daughter ready for school, hubby picked me up we were at the hospital at 7:30 monitored for 20 minutes then I got in the tub and labored until 1:30pm when I pointedly said I need to get out of this tub and the second I got to squatting I had to push and 4 pushes later we had a 9lb 4oz girl- this was my dream birth!
#4 - I have convinced hubby to do a home birth and cannot wait to deliver this baby at home 😍😁

I had an all natural birth with my first....currently expecting twins. At 39.1 I woke up very uncomfortable. Not in pain but I just felt off. I started losing my mucas plug around midnight. I stayed home in bed that entire morning just couldn't get comfortable. My doctors office was about 1 hr and 30 mins away so my mom decided to take me to the local health department so they could check me but they said they no longer did checks. So off we went to my doctors office. When I got there my mom asked them could they check me because she felt like I was in labor. They didn't believe her because I was completely mute and walking around. When they checked me I was a 7 so doc sent me over to the hospital. That was at 3 he came in and broke my water and by 5:21 I had a 8 lb 21 in little boy. My doctor did cut me, which I felt so I had to get a couple of stitches and he gave my Tylenol because my blood pressure had went up a little.

🙋 I've been giving birth both times at 34 weeks. First was a stillbirth and had epidural hated it. Second she decided to come at 34 weeks as well. Sat overnight at the hospital with contractions that. I didn't even know I had. The next day I was a 8 cm and was about to get epidural when I got talked outta it by my sister. Beat decision ever. Im currently 34.4 and was hoping he came yesterday lol. I'm tired of being pregnant but he's holding on tight. Even though I've dropped and everyone thought I should've given birth a month ago lol. So who knows when hell decide to come sometime this week or next 🤞🤞

I have only given birth once. I did not have any interventions. It was a 13 hour labor from the time my water broke to the time she was born. She was born at 40 weeks and 1 day. The labor was not easy, but fine. I would do it again in a heartbeat and can't wait to! It hurt but with proper breathing, running my back, and sitting in the birthing pool, it went very smoothly. I did have a pretty significant tear needing 16 stitches but I didn't feel the tear or the stitching because of how great I felt after birth.
