I'm curious...when buying a wedding dress would you prefer to shop online and save or to have the experience of the dress shop and trying on dresses?

Do both... go store to store trying on everything you can! Find a style you love, then go find it online and save lol you aren't committed to buying when you go to a shop lol and you get to find out what size you are in different styles which makes online shopping easier lol

I second the try on a ton of styles in store and then buy one online for far cheaper. I went to 5 shops around the valley and found a dress I loved for a thousand dollars. I went online and found the same one for 160 dollars. After alterations it was still cheaper then the one I found in a shop and because I knew I liked the shape and style i loved the other one too.

I've bought lots of dresses online. But none of them have ever been perfect. I've always needed them altered and they can look absolutely beautiful, but it's never quite what you pictured. I'm going to a store to get my dress! I just can't take any chances on my dress not being 100% perfect- I've been dreaming about this dress for way too long for it not to be!

I had mine custom made with bits and pieces of things I liked from a few dresses. My seamstress and I lovingly refer to it as the Frankenstein dress.

Definitely try it on before buying even if you go home and buy it online! I tried on so many I thought were beautiful on the hanger on for them to look terrible on. I tried on one I really wasn't liking on the hanger and it was STUNNING on me! Bought it. But if I had never tried it I would never have felt amazing on my wedding day like I did!

It's hard to tell with wedding dresses a lot of times the things you think you want don't work out and you end up with something completely different and you have no guarantee what things will look like when you buy online
