Hey y'all. I suffer from some KILLER acid reflux. More than 5 times daily . I will be at work and my throats starts burning and I get dry cough and I'll wake up from regurgitation(vomit) . My chest constantly burns and tums doesn't work. My doctor gave me Zantac to take 2 times a day but I'm one of those people are who against meds while pregnant , I've only taken Tylenol. But I'm tired of suffering this bad. Has anyone taken Zantac while pregnant ? What were side affects, was your baby okay? I'm 34 weeks.

UPDATE: I called OB triage because I've been having problems these past few days.

I've been dizzy, disoriented, severe cramps, dry mouth and the usual acid reflux symptoms like the dry cough, severe burn, indigestion, nausea and they said acid reflux can cause some serious problems like stated above and directed me to take it. I'm taking 150mg 2x a day now. (Just started taking it tonight) I just hope it doesn't cause any harm to my baby:(
