Cloth wipes just make sense when you're using cloth diapers. They are also much easier, since you can just roll the cloth wipe up with the diaper and not have to worry about throwing them away or picking them out on wash day.

I use cloth wipes at home.  I just keep them dry and when I want to use one I wet it at the sink and then wipe babes bum and rinse and pur in the wet bag with the diapers.   I haven't tried using them pre wet yet.  I was watching a you tube video by the mamas review. she used:                                                               1 1/2 c water                                                  1 tbsp baby oil                                               1/2 tsp baby soap                                        1 drop tea tree oil                                                       watch video for full instructions            I'm going to try it out soon just picked up a refillable wipe pouch 😊

I use cut old tshirts and a spray bottle. Just toss the dirty ones with the diapers and wash them together. For poop, I make wipes with paper towels.

I'm using diaper wipes right now because I have SO MANY 🙄 my boyfriends nana brought us 3 small cases of wipes, so grateful ! But once I've used them all, or close to, I'd like to try cloth wipes and maybe keep some throw away ones for the diaper bag.

I want to use them, but I'm waiting for my baby to be a little older first. The water here isn't good (if you drink it, you'll most likely end up with typhoid D:) here, doctors recommend using pre-packaged wipes from day one for newborns, as it decreases the risk of infection.
I'm waiting till she's had all her vaccines first, and her immune system is a little more mature; then I'm going to try cloth wipes and an antibacterial solution and see how that goes. If I'm not happy though, I'll go back to wipes. 
I do want to minimise our impact with garbage, but at the end of the day, I don't want her to get seriously ill either. At least we're able to cloth diaper now.
