how soon can I wash babies clothes?

I'm due September 30th. I have a wardrobe and dresser for all his clothing. I plan to hang his onsies and shirts while folding his pants and socks and such in the dresser. would it be okay to wash and put them all away? I cleaned the inside of the drawers and wardrobe from top to bottom so I know they're clean. would it be okay to wash and dry now and put them away? I mean they'll be sealed in the dresser and wardrobe.

I think you're fine.. don't you wear clothes after they've been hanging in your closet for a while? It's not actually all too often that babies get irritated by things like that, so go ahead and wash the clothes and IF your baby's skin is irritated by the time he comes along, you can always rewash, but you'll most likely be just fine!

I think it's fine to do now, especially bc toward the end it'll be much harder on you to do! Also you could always use freezer bags or other clothes storage bags! I know my clothes sometimes pick up a weird smell if left in the dresser or closest for over a year of no use but it could be the laundry detergent I used, ecos.. I don't use it anymore bc it wasn't getting smells out lol
