Babylist. It's online and you can add things from any store. So people can shop online or go to the store. They can even have it mailed to you instead of them if they are out of town.

I'm doing mine at Wal Mart because we live in a rural area and a lot of our family members who will be attending the shower are old school and don't do online shopping. This way, they can go to their local Wal Mart and look up my registry there. My brother and his fiance registered at Babies R Us and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who bought them something off of their registry because we don't have one of those stores near us and no one wanted to order online. 😞

I did Babies R Us because they give you money back from every item purchased on your registry in the form of a gift card. Plus, they have a price match guarantee. I prefer Buy Buy Baby because they generally have higher-end items, but it was too far for all of my baby shower guests. I also have a registry at Pottery Barn Kids for my organic linens and higher-end items, but they aren't as easy to deal with. Many people prefer to go into an actual store to buy things, so I wouldn't recommend doing a registry that is exclusively online (like Amazon). I've had friends who registered at Target and Walmart as well, and they were happy with their experience. Location is the most important thing to keep in mind when creating a registry to make it easy on your guests and for you to do returns.

There are so many options so I just thought about my people and what's near them. I love buy buy baby the most but there's only one where I live and it's far from both sides of the family, so I did babies r us which we have in both towns. If you only have target or Walmart near you, I'd do them instead.   If your people mostly shop online then I'd do Amazon.
