Steps after 2 in a row

Hello everyone. I experienced a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in March. We heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks, went I. at 11 wks and nothing. Had to get a D&C.; I am pregnant again at almost 8 weeks, went in for an Ultrasound and baby measures 5 weeks and no heartbeat. They are going to check again next week but I am not optimistic. My husband and I track my cycles and have it down when I ovulate. So what are our next steps? We don't have issues getting pregnant but we can't keep a pregnancy. What have you done after multiple miscarriages? My Dr mentioned genetic testing so we will probably get that done. What has everyone else done to take measures so this doesn't happen again?
