Dating/Step Fathers

So I found out at 5 months I was pregnant.

Unfortunately, the father of the baby and I broke things off months ago. And he thinks I planned this. 🙄

He still wants me to get an abortion at now almost 6 months! Smh... Now we are to the point where he wants to give up all rights to the child.

In the midst of all of this, I re-linked with someone I haven't seen in almost 7 years. I had the biggest crush on him as kids, and to this day it is the exact same. When I found out I was pregnant and told him, he acted as if it changes nothing. We spent some time together and I broke down telling him the story of my ex. And he told me he will be there. He wants to be apart of me and the child's life. But I just feel as if I allow him to do that, I would be asking too much.

Would it be weird to have another man step in and the child isn't even here yet?
