So has anyone else have a hard time getting on bc?

So I'm 21 and have been trying to get on. some form of birth control for the past 4 or 5 months. I've gone to my gyno and I was going to get an iud. So made my appointment during my period then the day of they called and said my insurance wouldnt cover it. So I would have to get on another form. The nurse was ment to call me and never did. I have tried to make the appointment so I can get a pill prescribed and I missed them by 10 minutes. So frustrating 😭😤😡

go to plan parent hood ur in and out of that place. u can make an app.  or they  accept walk ins as well but I believe only a certain hour though.

I went to the gyno not even trying to get on birth control and she handed me tester sets of the nuva ring to try

I didn't have any problem. I went and got a prescription. When I picked it up the total was $140 for a nine month supply. To me that was really cheap. My insurance covered it, so I really paid $0. 
I'm really sorry it didn't work out for you :( 
Maybe keep trying to research what your insurance can do
