Heartbeat unfortunately is no indication of the sex. My son's went all over the place from like 126 to 167 throughout my pregnancy.

my son's was 150 at each appointment. maybe it's a boy!

My son's heart rate was as high as 182 in the first trimester/beginning of second trimester, but then settled into the 140s by the third trimester.

My son's was 180 something so we assumed girl. He's a boy so this is a myth for a reason. Although, much later in the pregnancy, this can be applied....
