I've gotten cold sores all my life and take medicine to help suppress them and they are not genital heroes. I get them on my lips since I was a kid. My son is 5 months old. I kissed him On the lips this morning which I rarely do, but I just noticed I'm getting a cold sore. It's not open or tingling yet. Just forming. That's why I didn't notice. I know cold sores can be deadly for babies. Now I'm so scared I may have just done something awful to my son.
