Getting married at a courthouse is cheap.

I think getting married at a courthouse is cheap and tacky. I don't understand why people don't just do it at a park or beach with a handful of people for a few hundred dollars. I will never personally do it because if I am only getting married once in my life I want it to be special and memorable. I want to have a pretty dress and decorate a little. Put some effort into showing our love. If I didn't have the money for a wedding I'd wait until I saved enough. No harm in waiting a little. Even $1,000 over a couple years. At least $500. That would have been the only time in your life you are marrying the person you love. Put some feelings and thought into it. These are just my thoughts.. I secretly shake my head a little when I see that. Thinking out loud.
