I'm pretty sure that my MIL gave my 15 month old daughter a cold sore. Grrr. I hurt my back a few days ago and so she came over to help out. I didn't really pay attention to my MIL face and went and took a nap. But today she had a red spot on her face by her mouth. And now it's two little blisters. I looked online and I guess it could also be the start of chicken pox but she has been vaccinated for that? I'm freaking out because it's Saturday so we can't go to the store until Monday to get it checked out. I'll be so mad if she was kissing my baby if she knew she had a cold sore! But then I feel guilt about being mad because she came to help me out. Sorry needed to vent. Anybody else have a little one that gets or got a cold sore?

Update

Called the on call dr. They said most likely impetigo. She has no fever no red lines coming from the blisters. So we are going to wash it and put antibiotic ointment on it. If it grows or multiplies then we will go to the dr. Thanks for all info and concern.
