Do you know anyone who still talks about how amazing high school was?

2 years ago I dated a guy for a few months who was always taking about how great high school was. He was a year older than me and graduated 2 years prior. He was always asking why I didn't like high school and if I'm excited for the reunion and all that

Yeah I've met people who never let high school go... and I just think that's a little  sad 
The world is so much cooler than high school

Even when I was in HS, my mom would look at some of my friends and be like "uh oh, I think she's gonna peak in HS." Always thought it was a weird thing to say, but I kinda know what she meant now.

If that was the only highlight of their life, then at 25+years of age, that's all they'll be ranting and raving about.

Sometimes when the high school topic comes up I do talk about how amazing it was, my freshman year was crap but the rest was actually amazing.

Not my bf, thank god, but his best friends do like every time we're all together.. they're all 23/24(I'm 21) I'm sure it's just cuz they don't know what else to talk about in front of me and maybe want to just share memories, but to me it always comes off as them always trying to remind me how much longer they've known him than me.( they all grew up in the same neighborhood since they were in kindergarten/elementary).. it gets real old.. like college has been so much better than high school.. some of these guys have even graduated college, so I just don't get it at all.. like I expect it from those who haven't gone to college, but not those who have.. so lame
