Hesitant before reading a new book??

Does anyone else get really hesitant before reading a new book? Like fear that the book will not be to your liking and you're just going to waste your valuable time on it? Or fear that you will love it so much that you'll be obsessed with it and tired yourself out? I'm putting it off right now lmao
