To solder or not to solder?

Hey ladies! I just married my best friend about a month ago and I'm wondering if I should solder my engagement ring and wedding band together. I only ask because they don't exactly match (as you can see in the picture) and the band is so beautiful, I thought I might wear it by itself sometimes (but honestly probably not). Anyways, give me your opinions/experience or other ideas to keep the rings together so they don't rub each other! Thanks and much love!

It depends how you wear them... if you ALWAYS wear them together, then it might be a good idea. 
I wouldn't do it, because I like to just wear my wedding band at times - like going to the beach, on hikes, to work (I'm an RN).

I don't plan to. I want to be able to leave my engagement ring home or in a safety deposit box if we go on vacation. We live in Florida and I never wear it to the beach, but I'd be able to wear my wedding band.

I chose not to because it was you grandma's ring. honestly I don't really see the point in doing it.

I did not do that to mine.  My engagement ring and wedding band were very expensive. I wanted to be able to wear my wedding band by itself.

It's completely up to you! I don't plan on because I'm hoping to pass my jewelry on to my daughters and granddaughters (hopefully) in the future.

I would, but that's just me! It would help never having to worry about loosing one if you took them off to do dishes or shower.

I like wearing mine separate so I wouldn't do it but if you always always wear them together I think it makes sense.

I never had mine done. I've been wearing it for almost 12 years and I have noticed that you can see where they rub together but i don't think it makes much difference.

I would I got mine put together 9 days before our wedding and love it ! Makes the set look complete
