Have you been cheated on?

Last night I found emails on my boyfriends computer, he sent them to women on Craigslist. Pictures of his penis and some selfies. 
From the month of February, March, April(5 emails total)I confronted him. A very emotional and heated confrontation, he told me he never got a reply, just a link to "free chat rooms to females in the area", he did it when he was horny and feeling curious. He was embarrassed, ashamed, sobbing. I was willing to work past it. I gave him everything, I don't want to start again. I'm willing to try this one time, if he fucks up IM DONE. I deserve better.... the fact that he did this is crippling- I would have never expected that from my best friend. Ladies, have you ever had a situation where he never cheated again after that one time? Or he shaped up? 
My man didn't cheat, claims he wouldn't have but regardless- he almost cheated. Advice?

I don't understand how women don't find this cheating. That is cheating. It doesn't need to be physical to be cheating. Doing something that you wouldn't do sitting next to your SO is cheating. Point blank.

He was actively seeking other woman sexually. What do you think he would do if he had opportunity to have sex with another woman? What if she hit him up and he was alone with her? His actions have already given you that answer. He simplynis not loyal. Cut and run..

If it's something you think you can work past, and want to give him a chance to earn your forgiveness back, then go for it. No one else can make that decision for you. I'm sorry this is happening to you, and it's good that you're searching for the ability to forgive him. Not many would be able to do that. 
My story of being cheated on: first boyfriend slept with another girl in his friend group 3 different times before he came clean to me. I tried to forgive him and we dated for a couple more months, but nothing was the same. I felt disgusted that he didn't use a condom and then came back and had sex with me. It was gross. he didn't end up cheating again, but after we broke up he did end up cheating on his next girlfriend, who was also pregnant with their daughter.

My boyfriend cheated on me. 
Just over a year ago when we were in a rough place ( not an excuse though) he kissed my 'friend' he then once I dumped him over it sent nudes and flirted with other girls I know. And one of them was nice enough to tell me he was doing it and she didn't flirt back. 
Anyways, after many talks and cries from us both, I said I'd give it a second chance. I did. And I'm glad because we are still together and happy, and he hasn't done it again. 
It's hard. But I'd prefer to be with him then hold onto those feelings, it's even harder for me because I have to face the girl he kissed every single day t school and she's always around him and always at his sport matches. But it's gotten a little easier
