Has anyone used LAM (breastfeeding after birth) as a form of birth control? How did it work for you?

I had a baby a month ago yesterday and we are trying LAM as our only form of birth control. Have any of you tried that and what were the results?

My sisters are 10 months apart with that method. My best friend has two kiddos ten months apart as well.

Well my mother in laws mother did that and had all of her babies back to back. Some people say it works some say it doesn't. I think the reason why some women don't get pregnant is because their hormones are still balancing out and some women's hormones balance out faster. If your not wanting to get pregnant I suggest you guys at least use condoms.
