What's the difference between all these different injectables? Are some more effective than others?

Answer

They all have differing effects on the body's hormone production. Clomid is in pill form, usually taken around cycle days 2-7. Gonadotropins is sort of an umbrella term for a lot of different types of hormones. Some are follicle stimulation hormones (fsh) some are lutenizing hormones (lh) some are chorionic (hcg).  There are so many different combinations and protocols that DRs use.
