I was on birth control for a long time and I had switched methods once or twice before. Recently, about two or three weeks ago I took out my nuvaring for good and have been letting my body try to get back to normal. Prior to removal of the nuvaring I had a bacterial infection and occasional bleeding after intercourse. I have had horrible pains in the location of my ovaries since a little while after removing that. I was then checked for urinary problems and vaginal bacteria stuff. I'm clean but still have pains. Over the weekend I visited my boyfriend and we had intercourse which proceeded to make the pain go away. I'm waiting to see if the pains come back now that we aren't sexual active during the week since being far away from each other. This has me extremely confused and I'm wondering if anyone could shine some light on this situation?
