What do you use to take notes in during Uni?

For notebooks do you ever actually fill them up all the way?

Depends the class and how much notes you take. There's some classes I use 3 notebooks and some classes I barley use 3 pages. Just depends on you.

I still prefer notebooks and even the professors preach that it's a better tactic for studying. Some even have a no electronics policy to ensure your taking notes.

this year I'm gonna have binders with loose leaf paper so if I need more paper I don't have to start a new spiral.

If the slides are online and available to see during class, I'll download them and take notes on the comments part of the slide. otherwise I'll use a notebook. unless there's a lot of info and the professor is going suuuuper quick then I'll have to type. one thing you may be able to do is record lecture (with permission) so when you revise your notes you can listen to the lecture and write what you missed the first time.

I always used those 70 page notebooks. I don't think I ever filled one up all the way, but I might have come close
