do you think that nobody cares about marriage anymore

ok so have seen so many posts lately about how oh the s/o watches to much porn or hangs out with friends or spends a lot of time with family and many people men and women contemplate divorce. like really? this is why you want a divorce? not because of cheating, abuse, or not loving them anymore but because of dumb reasons listed previously? why does everyone act like if they were so perfect? nobody is but yet you find something you dnt like about your spouse and right away want to divorce him/her. marriage was never meant to be like this people worked on their problems and tried to solve them istead of giving up, what happened to everyone trying to make it work? it is just sad to think that maybe you did have a good man or woman inwho treated you with respect and loved you but just because you think him/her watching porn (example) is cheating or whatever or it just bothers you, you automatically want the marriage to be over. smh JUST A RANT

I think you are going to see way more post about people unhappy in their marriage. Most people that are happy in their marriage are not going to make a lot of post about how great their so is. I'm very happy with my husband. We are very committed to making it work. Every relationship has hard times and good times.

I think it's so easy to give up. like my mum and dad worked through their issues and were married 40 years until my dad passed away in January. years ago people tried harder to make it work. nowadays divorce is highly likely unfortunately. I aim to be like my parents but who knows what the future holds?

I feel like some people now a days (men & women) just figure that to make a marriage work is just to put two individuals in a home together & 'try' to get along. Like I feel when a relationship isnt doing so well both or one person doesn't put the effort needed to make it work like communication, compromises, giving space, not meeting their partners needs, ect. I really think instead of dumb electives I'm high school they should offer relationship courses.

Unfortunately a lot of people just like to throw at relationships instead of working through things because is easier.
