My son is a week old! I just can't seem to wake up everytime i sit down. I am hoping it is normal since my body is adjusting again from being pregnant.

My tips would be : ensure you're drinking heaps of water, ensure you eat healthy including foods that contain iron as birth process you lose lots of blood, make sure you don't experience symptoms such as night sweats or flu like symptoms but don't actually have flu which can indicate infections. Also monitor fatigue level, I was very tired Otherwise:
You've birthed a baby, you've had major major surgery, you're caring for a new baby which no doubt you're not sleeping through.... give yourself a break mumma. Takes some time to recover! 😄

are u taking any pain meds? i have had 3 c sections and used them after each 1 and they made me tired. other than that it is normal because ur body is recovering...even tho u didnt push baby out ur body still went thru alot of stress...and the drop in hormones can make you tired! be sure to get lots of rest...sleep when baby sleeps!!
