I dont believe, but what want my children to.
This might sound weird and I'm not really sure why im posting this, i guess i just to know what you guys think. Some people think that bringing your child to church is forcing religion on them but to me it seems like the opposite. My parents took me to church, but I don't think they forced religion onto me. I do not believe in God, but am very interested in Christianity and stand for a lot of things in the bible. In the future when and if I have kids I want to take them to church. I want them to get involved in christianity and learning the ways of the bible. This is mainly because Christianity teaches important morals and if my child wants to believe in God then they can. I feel like religion is the best thing i can offer them. I have never believed in God, but sometimes wish I did. I feel like it would make life so much is easier and reduce so much stress but I simply cannot force myself to believe what I think are lies. I feel awkward about myself and christianity because I don't believe, but i want to, and i stand for what the bible says. I want my future kid to have the option to live a happy life whether they follow the religion or not. I just want to make sure that they have the opportunity and understandings of it to make the choice for themselves.
