I have semper fidelis on the side of my boob going to my ribs in small print. It's for my husband and also the man who raised me as if I was his own kid when he had many others to look after. He was a gunny in the marines and was the best role model I could ever ask for. I also have my child hood service dog's paw print on my hip just below waist line. He was my first service dog and he had gotten me through so much and I now will have a part of him for ever.

Personally, don't do it! I have 2 tattoos that are both very well done, one is a crown between my shoulder blades and the other is feathers (feminine feathers painted burgundy and yellow to represent the redskins, my dads favorite football team) located on my outer calve. I love my tattoos, but I wish that I had waited. They are forever and if you want them now, you can wait a year and see if you still want one. I just wish I would've thought about the way certain outfits don't look as sophisticated anymore because my tattoos show. There is nothing wrong with tattoos, but it is a commitment.
